As an experienced lawyer and founder of Fleischhauer Erbrechtskanzlei in Düsseldorf, Laura Fleischhauer has been providing comprehensive advice and representation in all matters of inheritance law and family law at MTR Legal since October 2023. Her expertise includes the drafting and review of wills and inheritance contracts, the execution of wills and representation in and out of court in inheritance disputes. Before joining Fleischhauer Erbrechtskanzlei, she worked at Gelbke Rechtsanwälte in Moers, where she also practiced in the field of inheritance law and general civil law. She completed her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf with stages that further deepened her broad legal experience. She completed her academic career at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn.
Laura Fleischhauer specializes in drafting individual wills and inheritance contracts, reviewing existing documents and acting as executor of wills. Her work includes representation in and out of court in inheritance disputes, including the enforcement of or defense against claims to compulsory portions. She is also experienced in the tax-efficient transfer of assets in the context of anticipated succession and the drafting of legally compliant precautionary documents such as health care proxies and living wills. She also appears as a speaker on the subject of inheritance law.
